"Being Japanese is your greatest weapon."
Having overcome a time of facing an overwhelming gap with the world, Japanese soccer players now regularly compete in major leagues worldwide. However, to reach the unprecedented peak of being number one in the world, a 'unique evolution' that goes beyond the conventional path is essential.
The author, who has worked as a personal coach for numerous top players, arrived at a method of physical manipulation that leverages Japanese characteristics, not a copy of European players. The hints to unlock the 'individual power' that can surpass the world lie in the wisdom that Japanese people have refined throughout their long history, such as the vibration-damping structure of five-story pagodas and the 'kata' (forms) of traditional martial arts.
Why can the Japanese physique become a 'weapon'? This book elucidates the 'logic' and 'reproducibility' that support overwhelming performance, spanning 'how to use one's gaze,' 'speed of judgment,' and even traditional culture. It is a book that redefines the potential of Japanese people, transcending the boundaries of soccer.
