Seven-Eleven Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Tomohiro Akutsu) will sequentially launch six products co-developed with students from Kanazawa Municipal Seisen Junior High School at Seven-Eleven stores in Ishikawa, Toyama, Fukui, and Niigata prefectures starting Tuesday, June 16th.

This initiative began with an outreach class on "What is Product Development" conducted by the company in Kanazawa City in October 2024. The initiative continues into fiscal year 2025, and after outreach classes, proposal sessions, and evaluation sessions, the products are now ready for launch. We will continue to contribute to solving regional issues and fostering human resource development through similar initiatives in the future.

Product Creation in Collaboration with Students of Kanazawa Municipal Seisen Junior High School

We believe that by collaborating with schools, we can create a learning environment where students research issues related to local ingredients and raw materials, and propose products that customers will enjoy. This collaboration also contributes to human resource development and the resolution of regional issues. We concluded a comprehensive partnership agreement with Kanazawa City on March 25, 2024, and conduct outreach classes in over 10 schools in Ishikawa Prefecture annually. We reported the implementation of this product development class to Kanazawa City, and they participated in menu proposals and evaluation sessions.
