SHADE Co., Ltd. (Gotanda NT Building 8F, 1-18-9 Nishi-Gotanda, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter referred to as "our company") filed an application with the Osaka District Court on March 25, 2026, seeking an injunction against Keihavens Co., Ltd. (504 Kisshoin Nagata-cho, Minami-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) on the grounds that the offer for sale, etc., of a rechargeable jet blower sold under the name "Arashin NEO" by Keihavens Co., Ltd. infringed upon our company's design rights (Registration No. 1806473).
Subsequently, as a result of discussions between our company and Keihavens Co., Ltd., and proceedings in court, Keihavens Co., Ltd. promised not to sell the product that was the subject of this provisional injunction application, and has ceased its advertising and removed related displays.
Based on these actions, our company determined that the purpose of this provisional injunction application had been achieved and withdrew the application on July 1, 2026.
Our company will continue to respect the intellectual property rights of others and take appropriate action if we determine that our own intellectual property rights have been infringed.
