Mina Miyajima's 'Naruse wa Tenka wo Tori ni Iku,' which won numerous awards including the 2024 Bookstore Grand Prize and became the 'best-selling novel of the Reiwa era,' is being adapted for the stage this summer with a star-studded cast including Mizuki Yamashita and Ryoko Fujino. It has been reprinted with a special cover featuring Mizuki Yamashita and will be available in stores from early June. The stage version features an original script combining the contents of 'Naruse wa Tenka wo Tori ni Iku' and its sequel 'Naruse wa Shinjita Michi wo Iku.' It will be performed starting this July in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, where the story is set. This summer, you can meet the 'greatest protagonist ever' on stage! The Shinchosha Bunko edition has also been reprinted with the special cover, and the series has surpassed 2.2 million copies in total! Please check your local bookstores. Tickets are now on sale. Additionally, Mizuki Yamashita, who plays the protagonist Akari Naruse, will throw the ceremonial pitch at the Saitama Seibu Lions vs. Hiroshima Toyo Carp game at Belluna Dome on June 10th (Wed).
