Shinko Holdings Co., Ltd. surveyed 111 HR and general affairs managers who have implemented or are considering in-company stores. The survey found that 60.4% consider "product assortment customization to meet company needs" the most important selection criterion. The top reason for this emphasis, cited by 71.6%, was the desire to cater to employees on night and rotating shifts. Furthermore, 89.2% of respondents want these stores to offer non-food items and daily necessities, indicating that the role of in-company stores is expanding from providing food to supporting employees' overall well-being.
