Sibire Inc. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Midori Suzuki), which promotes a lifestyle not confined to Tokyo under the vision of "OFF TOKYO," will hold a talk event where participants can directly hear real voices about the lives and work styles of Regional Revitalization Cooperators, as well as human relationships in their new communities.
As an option for future careers and lifestyles
Currently, approximately 8,000 people nationwide are active as Regional Revitalization Cooperators. They relocate from urban areas to rural regions to engage in activities for solving local issues and revitalizing communities.
The Regional Revitalization Cooperator system is designed to make it easier to choose to change environments during one's life stages, precisely because the term of service is fixed.
Furthermore, it is attractive because it allows individuals to challenge new roles within the community while leveraging their past careers and strengths.
Sanjo City, which has one of the highest numbers of cooperators in Japan, currently has about 40 Regional Revitalization Cooperators active.
At this event, we will invite current cooperators active in Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture, as guests to share their "true feelings" about their activities, daily lives, reasons for moving, what they actually feel, and any anxieties or doubts they may have.
This event is recommended for those who are interested in becoming a Regional Revitalization Cooperator but are hesitant to take the first step, or those who are interested in working in regional areas.
