The Social Innovation and Investment Foundation (SIIF), in collaboration with SIIF Impact Capital (SIIFIC), announced that the SIIFIC Wellness Fund participated in a third-party allotment of shares by Toregem Biopharma on April 27, 2026. Toregem Biopharma is a drug discovery company aiming to commercialize regenerative dental medicine using an antibody (TRG035) that inhibits the tooth development suppressor USAG-1. Having completed Phase 1 trials in Japan for congenital anodontia, the company seeks to shift dental care from conventional prosthetics to 'curative therapy' that induces natural tooth formation. The investment aligns with the fund's focus on products that provide reliable medical care and encourage positive lifestyles. As congenital anodontia lacks curative treatments until adulthood, this investment is expected to accelerate the clinical development of the world's first tooth regeneration drug, improving patient QOL and contributing to the advancement of dental care. Moving forward, the fund will provide hands-on support and Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) to help realize a world where everyone can chew, speak, and smile with their natural teeth.
