JAM Fukui Katsuyama Mountain Resort will bring together a variety of special content for this weekend only, on Saturday, July 11th and Sunday, July 12th, 2026. On Sunday the 12th, it will host the "TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Rally Challenge in Kyoryu Katsuyama" (hereinafter referred to as TGR), where thrilling rallies will unfold. On Saturday the 11th, enchanting sky lanterns will illuminate the summer night sky. Furthermore, the resort will launch its new scenic spot, "JAM Terrace," and the summer-limited event "Dino Land Summer" starting Saturday, July 11th. From nature, gourmet food, and activities to motorsports, a special resort experience awaits this weekend, bringing together a diverse range of attractions.

TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Rally Challenge in Kyoryu Katsuyama Held on Sunday, July 12th

Previous Event

The 6th round of the Rally Challenge, held at 12 venues nationwide, will take place at JAM Fukui Katsuyama Mountain Resort. Approximately 75 rally cars from across the country will gather. Spectators can watch the powerful rally cars up close and freely observe pit maintenance.

In addition to the race, the "TOYOTA GAZOO Racing PARK" event will be held, allowing families to enjoy cars as a form of entertainment. Special vehicles rarely seen, along with numerous hands-on activities for both children and adults, will be featured!

Enchanting Sky Lanterns on the Evening of Saturday, July 11th

In conjunction with TGR, a PR event for the Chubu-Jukan Expressway, scheduled for full opening throughout the prefecture in Spring 2029, will be held for two days starting July 11th. At the venue, a variety of hands-on programs will be available, including silk screen printing on tote bags and T-shirts, dinosaur crafting with screws, and chiropractic treatment experiences. You can enjoy a full day with your family and friends.

On Saturday, July 11th, numerous unique food trucks will also be present. In the evening, sky lanterns will be launched. Enjoy a magical sight unique to this day, with countless lights floating up into the night sky surrounded by mountains. Spend an unforgettable summer night with your family, friends, or loved ones.

Grand Opening of "JAM Terrace," a New Scenic Spot at an Altitude of 1,000m

On Saturday, July 11th, the same day the events are held, "JAM Terrace," a scenic spot overlooking Katsuyama city and the surrounding mountains, will finally have its grand opening.

This space, produced by "niko and ...," is designed as an "open living room at an altitude of 1,000m," where you can relax while enjoying the view. Additionally, the "niko and ... COFFEE" food truck will make its first appearance in Fukui Prefecture, offering original menu items that can only be enjoyed here.
