Kan-Kan Ferry's "Hamayuu," which operates between Shimonoseki Port and Busan Port in Korea, has launched the onboard Wi-Fi service "au Starlink Ferry Wi-Fi," provided by KDDI Corporation and Wire and Wireless Co., Ltd.

Previously, it was difficult to get a signal once the ferry entered international waters after departure. However, by utilizing the "au Starlink Ferry Wi-Fi" service, stable, high-speed internet communication will become available.

This will allow for comfortable internet use even in guest rooms, enabling passengers to enjoy a more flexible and enjoyable sea voyage, including watching videos, using social media, and communicating with family and friends.

About au Starlink Ferry Wi-Fi 1. Overview "au Starlink Ferry Wi-Fi" is a Wi-Fi service that utilizes Starlink, a high-speed satellite communication service with speeds of up to 220 Mbps, provided by KDDI Corporation and Wire and Wireless Co., Ltd.
