The strongest man wearing a Tengu mask makes his appearance in South Town... And for some reason, he speaks with an Italian accent!?

Mr. KARATE first appeared as the final boss in 'Art of Fighting' released in 1992. He is an undefeated fighter, whose true identity was Takuma Sakazaki, the founder of Kyokugenryu Karate. Later, in 1999's 'Fatal Fury: WILD AMBITION', Ryo Sakazaki joined the fight calling himself the second-generation Mr. KARATE. As time passed, 'Mr. KARATE' makes his third appearance in the latest installment of the Fatal Fury series.

Once again, everything about him remains a mystery, other than the fact that he uses Kyokugenryu Karate. He is crafted as a powerful character, incorporating systems from 'Art of Fighting' such as 'Spirit Charge' and 'Taunt'.

In the RPG mode 'EOST MODE', Mr. KARATE arrives in South Town seeking talented individuals and tours the city with a certain person. Will he find someone capable of reaching the extreme limits? In 'ARCADE MODE', he stands in the way of the 'hungry wolves' in pursuit of a certain school's secret ultimate technique. What awaits at the end of the extreme battle...?
