[Follow-up] SOLABLE Begins Demonstration Experiment in Myoko City Under Niigata Prefecture's Next-Generation Solar Cell Subsidy Program

The company was selected for Niigata Prefecture's 'Reiwa 7 Next-Generation Solar Cell Demonstration Support Project Subsidy' and has been conducting demonstration projects since November 2025 at the Niigata Prefectural Government Office corridor and since March 2026 at Sakazume Seizai-sho Co., Ltd. (a SOLABLE group company).

Now, the company has commenced a demonstration project at the final demonstration sites of this project: Myoko City Hall and the Myoko Clean Center in Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture, in collaboration with Tokyo Century Corporation (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) and Dainippon Diamond Consultants Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo).

Overview of the 'Reiwa 7 Next-Generation Solar Cell Demonstration Support Project Subsidy'

This subsidy covers part of the costs necessary to conduct demonstration projects that contribute to solving challenges in introducing solar power generation equipment in snowy regions using next-generation solar cells, in order to promote the introduction of renewable energy in such areas toward the realization of a decarbonized society by 2050.

Overview of this Demonstration Project

(1) Purpose To utilize flexible chalcopyrite solar cells developed by PXP Co., Ltd., characterized by being 'thin, lightweight, and bendable,' to promote the widespread adoption of next-generation solar cells in Niigata Prefecture (a snowy region). Through test installations at existing facilities, the project will primarily carry out the following four points:

・Verification of power generation performance in snowy regions

・Verification of power generation capacity through installation on curved surfaces

・Verification of operational systems in anticipation of disasters

・PR of next-generation solar cells to prefectural/city residents

Installation Site ②: Myoko Clean Center (installation on curved roof)

Briefing Session

A briefing session was held at the Myoko Clean Center, the installation site, in conjunction with the start of this demonstration.

Many members of the press and business operators attended the session, highlighting the high level of interest in next-generation solar power generation projects.
