Solxyz's Generative AI Service "SOLAI" Adopted by Bit-A Inc.

Solxyz Inc. (Headquarters: Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture; President and CEO: Yuichiro Sasage, hereinafter "Bit-A").

Bit-A is a group company of Komeri Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture; President and CEO: Yuichiro Sasage, hereinafter "Komeri"), a major home improvement retailer, and is responsible for Komeri's system development and operation. As a result of conducting a PoC (Proof of Concept) of SOLAI with the aim of building a manual utilization base for employees at Komeri stores, the search and response accuracy for internal manuals and operational applicability using RAG functionality* were deemed to meet the prescribed standards, leading to the decision for full-scale introduction of SOLAI.

[Background of Introduction]

Komeri is a leading company in the home improvement industry, operating over 1,200 stores nationwide and handling a wide range of product categories including materials, building materials, hardware, tools, and agricultural and horticultural goods. In store operations, there is an enormous volume of employee manuals covering product knowledge, customer service, and operational procedures, making it a critical issue for the field to be able to quickly search and refer to necessary information.

To solve these challenges, Bit-A decided to introduce SOLAI with the objective of building a system that enables efficient utilization of manual information for Komeri store employees. In the previously conducted PoC (Proof of Concept), SOLAI's RAG functionality demonstrated high evaluation for its search and response accuracy for internal manuals and operational applicability, leading to the transition to the current contract.
