Sony Bank Celebrates Its 25th Anniversary

Sony Bank, Inc. (President and CEO: Keiji Minami / Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "Sony Bank") is pleased to announce that it will celebrate its 25th anniversary on June 11, 2026 (Thursday).

Since its opening in 2001, Sony Bank has pursued the provision of value that stays close to each and every customer, guided by its corporate philosophy of "Fairness." We have also strived to capture the diverse needs of our customers and to develop new products and services, as well as strengthen our support systems.

We are able to reach this 25th anniversary milestone today thanks to our customers who use Sony Bank on a daily basis, and to everyone who has supported us along the way. We express our sincere gratitude.

As part of our efforts to convey this gratitude, we are running a campaign for new customers who open a Sony Bank account starting Monday, June 1, 2026. We will also be launching a campaign for existing account holders soon, and will announce it again when it begins.

In May 2025, our new core banking system became operational, establishing a foundation that allows us to quickly provide Sony Bank's unique products and services. Towards the realization of "Borderless Digital Banking for more 'Fun'" as stated in our medium-term management plan, we will further strengthen our collaboration with the Sony Group and its financial group companies, and continue to take on new challenges.
