SORABITO Inc. announced that it has developed a voice AI assistant specialized for mechanics in maintenance fields using technology from ElevenLabs Japan, and has begun a pilot test with Komatsu Ltd. This project aims to create a voice AI service that mechanics can truly utilize in the field by combining ElevenLabs' advanced voice AI technology with SORABITO's expertise in industrial operations. In maintenance environments, mechanics often struggle to find information in vast manuals. Traditional methods for searching causes of issues like 'slow arm movement' are time-consuming. Furthermore, since mechanics' hands are often occupied or dirty, operating devices to read long texts causes work interruptions and safety risks. To solve these issues, the three companies have launched a pilot for a voice AI service that allows users to retrieve information through natural, step-by-step dialogue. Looking ahead, the project aims to streamline overall mechanic operations and digitize field knowledge. By expanding multi-language support, they intend to reduce inquiry processing time and standardize quality at overseas branches, contributing to solving industry-wide labor shortages.
