Splunk Services Japan, a Cisco company, announced today that SP.LINKS Co., Ltd., a provider of payment proxy services, has decided to implement the 'Splunk Cloud Platform' to improve the visibility of its payment systems.
SP.LINKS provides various payment proxy services, including credit card processing, supporting the online transactions of numerous member stores. The company decided on this implementation to strengthen its operational foundation, ensuring the stable operation of critical systems as part of its ongoing commitment to service quality.
Previously, the company analyzed logs scattered across multiple systems. As transaction volumes grew and payment patterns diversified, there was an increasing need for faster and more advanced visualization and analysis. Consequently, the company will begin introducing and partially utilizing Splunk Cloud Platform in the first half of 2026 as an integrated platform for collecting and analyzing system logs, with full-scale operations targeted for the second half of 2026.
Splunk Cloud Platform is a highly scalable platform that simplifies data access and management, enabling optimized searching, analysis, and insights. By utilizing it as an observability foundation, SP.LINKS has built an environment for integrated analysis of payment system logs, achieving visibility into processing status at the transaction level. This is expected to speed up root cause identification for payment errors and improve the efficiency of troubleshooting, thereby strengthening the foundation for stable service operations.
Looking ahead, the company will work on building an advanced operational environment that combines Splunk Cloud Platform with Generative AI. By applying Generative AI and machine learning to integrated data, they aim to further streamline troubleshooting and inquiry handling, while enhancing the overall observability of their payment systems.
Masato Abe, CTO and CIO of SP.LINKS Co., Ltd., stated: 'With the expansion of our transaction volume and services, strengthening our operational foundation to enable real-time visualization and decision-making was crucial. By implementing Splunk Cloud Platform, we are building a foundation that allows us to integrate and visualize the status of payment transactions across the entire system. We look forward to exploring the use of Generative AI in collaboration with Splunk to enhance operational sophistication and efficiency.'
Junichiro Uchiyama, President of Splunk Services Japan, commented: 'We are delighted that SP.LINKS, a pioneer in the payment proxy industry, has chosen our Splunk Cloud Platform. We will continue to support the stable operation and business growth of their payment systems as a partner, driving initiatives toward achieving an advanced operational environment through Generative AI.'
