Background - Promoting DE&I as a Foundation of Management

The Spool Group positions DE&I as one of its important management issues, and is working to create an organization that respects differences in gender, age, disability status, work styles, etc., and allows diverse talent to demonstrate their abilities. Furthermore, in each business, there are opportunities to interact with people from various backgrounds, including employees, client companies, local governments, and the community. We believe that the ability to appropriately interact with each individual is essential for both organizational development and business activities.

Objective - Leveraging a Common Perspective in Organization and Services

The purpose of this training and certification is to apply the perspective of considering the other person's position not only to organizational management but also to the services provided by the Spool Group. By having management and the HR department share a common perspective, we aim to improve communication and service quality in service provision, in addition to workplace environment creation and human resource development.

The "Universal Manners Certification" is a certification that teaches the mindset and actions necessary to interact with diverse individuals, including the elderly and people with disabilities. In this training, Mr. Toshiya Kaiuchi, President and CEO of Mirairo Inc., served as the instructor, and participants learned the basics of necessary support, communication, and how to speak, incorporating perspectives based on real-life experiences.
