[SRS Holdings] Hosting the Food Loss Reduction Awareness Event 'mottECO FESTA 2026'

SRS Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan; President: Masahiko Shigesato; hereinafter 'SRS Group') is pleased to announce that the 'mottECO Promotion Consortium,' a public-private-academic alliance in which the group participates, will hold the food loss reduction awareness event 'mottECO FESTA 2026.'

Now in its fourth year since the inaugural event in 2023, the 4th mottECO FESTA will feature Yuko Sakita, Chairperson of the 'National Delicious Food Consumption Network Council,' as the keynote speaker. The event will include exhibition booths from government ministries, local municipalities, businesses, and universities, as well as panel discussions on food loss reduction, tastings of 'mottainai' (waste-reduction) menus, and food drives.

'mottECO FESTA 2026' aims to contribute to the reduction of food loss and waste by expanding the mottECO initiative, which is recommended by the Ministry of the Environment, the Consumer Affairs Agency, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
