About the Tamago-yaki・Oshiru Himawari Brand

In November 1989, we started as "Kyoteiho Himawari," a shop where you can enjoy a moment of relaxation during your shopping at the 3rd floor corner of Izumiya Shirakawa-cho Store, near Kitano Tenmangu Shrine in Kyoto. Our signature dish, Tamago-yaki (Akashi-yaki), is made with plenty of fresh eggs, carefully selected wheat flour and starch, and broth made from bonito from Kyushu and kombu from Hokkaido. It is cooked on a special copper plate with high thermal conductivity for each order, giving it a fluffy and melting texture.

With the concept of "adding color to life," we focus on "freshly cooked Tamago-yaki (Akashi-yaki)" and "broth carefully prepared in-store every day," aiming to be a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious meals little by little and feel small moments of happiness in your daily life. We renewed our store in 2022.
