In recent years, with the rapid advancement of generative AI, cyberattacks have become increasingly automated and sophisticated, demanding different responses from defenders than in the past. In particular, the dramatic improvement in AI's ability to discover and analyze vulnerabilities is accelerating the discovery of unknown vulnerabilities, fundamentally changing the security model of "responding after vulnerabilities are disclosed."

This lecture will provide an overview of the changes that AI is bringing to both cyberattacks and defense, and will explain the automation of security operations using AI and the practical responses required for IT infrastructure, including cloud and networks.
