SSK, the Japanese distributor of Danish sports brand hummel, collaborated with B.League's Nagoya Diamond Dolphins to create sign-language charity shirts. The project raised 400,000 yen from general shirt sales and player-worn shirt auctions. The funds were used to purchase 15 items needed by students at Aichi Prefectural Nagoya School for the Deaf, including a digital wireless hearing support system, digital cameras, automatic darkening welding helmets, and cosmetics. A presentation ceremony took place at the school on May 19, where SSK representatives and the team mascot Deede interacted with students. School principal Masaharu Maeda expressed gratitude for the donation and for spreading sign language awareness, which helps ease communication barriers for students. The Nagoya Diamond Dolphins stated they will continue community-focused activities through sports, while hummel aims to foster a mutually supportive society.
