Starmark Co., Ltd. is launching 'Mie Gin,' using Owase Hinoki from Mie Prefecture, as the 21st installment of its 'Ken-Gin Project' that promotes the charm of various regions in Japan.
'Mie Gin' is a craft gin that captures the essence of the forest by distilling branches from FSC-certified Owase Hinoki grown in the forests of Hayami Forestry in Kihoku Town, Mie, which has a 200-year history.
Instead of the trunk used for timber, we utilized the branches produced during the maintenance process to express the refreshing aroma of cypress.
Recommended ways to enjoy: - Soda water (Highball): For a light and airy fragrance. - Neat (Rock): To experience the depth of the aroma. - Craft Vinegar Mix: Mixing it with Ise craft vinegar (made with Mie-grown yuzu and ginger) is also recommended.
Product Summary: - Price: 6,600 yen (tax included) - Capacity: 500ml - Alcohol content: 40%
