[Call for Participants] Lecture "ACTIVATION Lab-LECTURE-" to be held on May 19 to support the first step toward entrepreneurship

(Headquarters: Showa-ku, Nagoya City; President & CEO: Hirotaka Sahashi) will hold the "ACTIVATION Lab-LECTURE-" on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, as part of the "ACTIVATION Lab" program, a training program for entrepreneurs and new business development professionals for adults, hosted by Aichi Prefecture and operated by STATION Ai. Mr. Daisuke Shigematsu, President and CEO of Space Market, Inc., will speak as a guest at the lecture and share his real experiences from starting a business to an IPO.

Lecture Content Mr. Daisuke Shigematsu, President and CEO of Space Market, Inc., who jumped into a startup at age 30 from a salaryman, founded a company at 37, and achieved an IPO at 43, will introduce his real experiences. He will talk about how he chose one business, put it into action, and overcame difficulties, from the night before starting his business, which involved researching overseas cases and brainstorming 100 ideas.

Speaker Profile Daisuke Shigematsu (President and CEO, Space Market, Inc.) Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1976. Graduated from Chiba Higashi High School and Waseda University Faculty of Law. In 2000, joined Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation (NTT East) and was mainly in charge of corporate sales planning and promotion. In 2006, joined PhotoCreate Co., Ltd., engaging in new business, public relations, and recruitment. Also involved in alliances with domestic and international companies, and experienced listing on the Mothers section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in July 2013 with the same company. In January 2014, founded Space Market, Inc. In January 2016, established the Sharing Economy Association, aiming to promote the sharing economy and its sound development, and assumed the position of Representative Director. Currently serves as a director of the same association.

About ACTIVATION Lab The "ACTIVATION Lab" is a training program for entrepreneurs and new business development professionals for adults, hosted by Aichi Prefecture and operated by STATION Ai, offering three contents and mentoring in two terms: early and late. The contents include "LECTURE," a lecture to learn the mindset for entrepreneurship and new business; "STUDY," a full-fledged study session for entrepreneurship and new business; and "WORKSHOP," practical work for commercialization, allowing participants to gradually increase the clarity of their understanding towards entrepreneurship and new business creation.
