CPC Corporation's Dalin Refinery Honored with 'Outstanding Recognition Award' for Environmental Sustainability in Kaohsiung City Air Quality Improvement Zone

Dedicated to promoting environmental sustainability and improving air quality, CPC Corporation's Dalin Refinery has long been engaged in the adoption and maintenance of Kaohsiung City's Air Quality Improvement Zones, earning well-deserved recognition. At the '2025 Air Quality Improvement Zone Maintenance Briefing and Awards Ceremony' hosted by the Kaohsiung City Environmental Protection Bureau on April 9, the Dalin Refinery received the '2025 Outstanding Recognition Award for Excellent Adoption Units of Air Quality Improvement Zones,' showcasing its concrete achievements in ESG implementation and corporate social responsibility.

The Kaohsiung City Environmental Protection Bureau has long promoted the establishment of air quality improvement zones and a corporate adoption system, leveraging public-private collaboration to reduce dust emissions from exposed land and increase urban green coverage, thereby creating a more livable environment. This year, 27 outstanding maintenance units and 53 excellent adopting enterprises were commended, recognizing collective efforts in environmental protection.

The Dalin Refinery has long adopted the air quality improvement zone around the Kaohsiung City Social Education Center, consistently investing in green space maintenance, plant care, and environmental improvements. These efforts have not only effectively enhanced local air quality but also provided citizens with a comfortable recreational space, adding greenery and ecological value to the urban landscape.

Deputy Plant Manager Chen Fu-Rong accepted the award on behalf of the refinery, stating that Dalin Refinery will continue to uphold its mission of fostering a sustainable environment and collaborate with government and local communities to advance environmental conservation, creating a healthier and more comfortable living environment for citizens. Plant Manager Hsu Hsin-Feng emphasized that receiving the Outstanding Award is not only recognition of the team's long-term dedication but also a responsibility and encouragement for the future. Moving forward, the refinery will continue to adhere to its core corporate values, deepen eco-friendly initiatives, expand the impact of green actions, fulfill its corporate social responsibility, and work with all sectors toward sustainable development goals.
