Taishin Shin Kong Financial Group announced the launch of its 'Sports Empowerment Program' on July 8, integrating resources to deepen support for sports development and athlete cultivation. This year, the group expands its support to multiple athletes, adding breaking, taekwondo, and esports to its existing support for golf, karate, and basketball, aiming to build a more diverse talent development landscape. The 'Sports Empowerment Program' also includes the 'Little Empowerment Camp,' where sponsored athletes serve as coaching mentors, guiding children to explore interests and build confidence through various sports activities. At the program's launch ceremony, Taishin Shin Kong Financial Group expressed strong support for its sponsored athletes, wishing them success in representing Taiwan at the upcoming Asian Games.

The launch event was hosted by Lin Wei-Chun, General Manager of Taishin Shin Kong Financial Group, with attendees including Lin Shu-Chen, General Manager of Taishin Bank, Lin Shang-Kai, Executive Director of Private Banking, and Huang Min-Yi, General Manager of Shin Kong Life Insurance. The six sponsored athletes—golfer Chien Pei-Yun, karate athlete Ku Tsui-Ping, Taipei Taishin Mars basketball player Lei Meng-En, newly supported taekwondo athlete Lo Chia-Ling, breaker Hsu Fu-Ya, and esports player Liu Hsiang (Slash) from the DCG team—appeared in official competition uniforms, showcasing the group's diverse and dynamic sports support. Lin Wei-Chun presented the company flag to the athletes, symbolizing Taishin Shin Kong Financial Group's role as their strongest backer and wishing them outstanding achievements in international competitions.

Lin emphasized that corporate support for sports goes beyond sponsorship—it's about establishing long-term talent development mechanisms. The group will integrate its resources and expertise to build a comprehensive roadmap from athlete support to promoting nationwide sports participation, aiming to become the most solid support for elite athletes and contribute to a healthy, prosperous, and sustainable future for Taiwan. Lin also announced that athletes supported by the group who qualify for the Asian Games will receive encouragement bonuses, with additional substantial rewards for medal winners, demonstrating concrete actions to recognize and motivate athletes to break personal limits and represent Taiwan with pride.

To encourage the younger generation to develop regular exercise habits and strengthen their physical health, the group launched the diverse 'Little Empowerment Camp,' featuring training camps in football, basketball, karate, and esports. In addition to professional coaching, sponsored athletes will personally demonstrate techniques, provide guidance, and share their training journeys and dream-chasing experiences. The athletes will also visit remote schools to promote sports, spreading the passion, courage, and joy that sports bring to more children and laying a foundation for empowerment from the grassroots up.

Lin stressed that Taishin Shin Kong Financial Group will continue to expand its involvement in sports, education, and public welfare, guided by its core values of 'dedication, innovation, and sustainability.' Through impactful and sustained support initiatives, the group is committed to fulfilling its promise of giving back to society and advancing sustainability.
