The observation data is immediately transmitted back to the bureau via satellite, instantly integrated into forecasting systems to analyze the typhoon's real-time structure and development trends. It is also fed into numerical weather prediction models to enhance the accuracy of typhoon wind and rainfall forecasts.

This aircraft observation mission, known as the 'Dropwindsonde Observation Project' (or 'Typhoon Chasing Project'), has completed 91 flight missions since its launch in 2003, pioneering typhoon aircraft observation research in the northwestern Pacific. The bureau noted that dropsonde data is immediately fed into computer forecasting systems at the Central Weather Bureau and meteorological agencies worldwide, assisting in predicting typhoon tracks, analyzing gale radii, and understanding rainband structures. Scientific theories and forecasting applications derived from the project have been published multiple times in international journals and conferences and are highly regarded by international meteorological research institutions.

The bureau stated that during this Bavi typhoon mission, the aircraft also captured rare imagery of the typhoon's eye, revealing a perspective vastly different from the typhoon eye typically seen by the public through satellite cloud images. The bureau emphasized that all mission-related data was shared in real time with global meteorological centers, helping to enhance Taiwan's international visibility in meteorological technology.

In remarks to Wind Media, the Central Weather Bureau stated that the aircraft also captured rare images of intense convection during the Bavi mission. The photos show an isolated, towering convective cloud rising prominently above a vast expanse of cloud layers, revealing a rare view of intense convective activity within the typhoon's circulation. Such visuals are extremely rare in typhoon-chasing missions, making this successful capture particularly valuable.
