Ahead of the 2026 summer vacation, while the Legislative Yuan debates the 10,000 NTD 2.0 version of the 'National Support Fund,' multiple local governments across Taiwan have already begun distributing economic stimulus red packets. Among them, Huatan Township in Changhua County has finalized plans to distribute a 6,000 NTD revitalization gift to all residents, officially launching on July 20. Beyond Changhua, regions including Yilan, Hsinchu, Miaoli, Yunlin, Hualien, Taitung, and Penghu are also adding extra incentives, with some residents eligible to receive up to 10,000 NTD in cash. Huatan, Changhua Approves Universal 6,000 NTD Disbursement! No Wealth Test, 42,000 Beneficiaries, Two-Phase Distribution Schedule and Locations

In late March this year, the Huatan Township Council passed the 'Economic Revitalization Gift Fund Self-Government Ordinance,' adopting a 'no wealth test, no age limit' principle. All individuals registered as residents of Huatan Township by March 1, 2026 (inclusive) are eligible to receive the payment, with approximately 42,000 people expected to benefit.

The distribution will be conducted in two phases. Recipients must bring the 'collection notice (to be delivered by neighborhood leaders starting next week), original ID card, and personal seal' when collecting.

### Phase 1: Collection at Designated Village Locations (July 20 – August 14)

Township office staff will be stationed at 23 designated locations across the township (community centers, temples, or village chief service offices) to distribute cash. Daily distribution hours are from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. In the event of typhoons or heavy rain, the schedule will be postponed to August 17 and 18.

### Phase 2: Make-up Collection at Township Office (August 19 – November 30)

Residents who miss Phase 1 can personally visit the Huatan Township Office every Wednesday during the period from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM to collect their payment. No late claims will be accepted after the deadline.
