《Economic Daily News》 reported today (20th) that Foxconn has successfully secured a large AI server order from SpaceX, with an estimated total value of $520 billion (approximately NT$1.68 trillion). This has not only attracted the attention of Taiwanese citizens but also caught the eye of foreign tech media. However, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk directly refuted the report on X, stating, 'This is fake news.'
The report indicates that the order includes approximately 13,000 units of GB300 AI server cabinets, each priced at around $4 million, covering approximately 936,000 NVIDIA GPUs. Delivery is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026 and continue until the first quarter of 2027. US media outlet 《Wccftech》 also cited this information.
The report also mentioned that Foxconn's success in securing this order breaks the previous supply chain dominance of Dell and Supermicro in AI server cabinets for SpaceX, successfully entering a new large customer supply chain.
A foreign netizen posted this report on X and exclaimed, 'Wow, that's a lot of computing power.' However, unexpectedly, Musk directly responded to the post, stating, 'This is fake news,' denying the related report.
