Taiwan's First 'Reproductive Bank Concept Showroom' Launched by Experienced Female Doctor Zhang Yongling and Guangtian Hospital with the Opening of Sanshen Reproductive Center

With declining birth rates, increasing maternal age, and growing awareness of women's health, women's medical needs have evolved beyond merely seeking care when ill. In response, Dr. Zhang Yongling, the most experienced female Da Vinci gynecological surgeon in Taiwan’s infertility field, has partnered with Guangtian Hospital in Taichung to establish the 'Sanshen Reproductive Center,' creating a 360-degree women's health care ecosystem. This initiative enables Guangtian Hospital to provide more comprehensive medical services to women in central Taiwan.

Dr. Zhang emphasizes that the 'Sanshen Reproductive Center,' located at Guangtian Hospital’s Shiang-Shang campus, is not just a reproductive medicine center but a 'women’s fertility health management platform.' Guided by this core philosophy, the center integrates multidisciplinary resources to accompany women throughout their journey—from health management and preconception preparation to fertility support, reproductive treatments, and welcoming new life—offering seamless, continuous care. As such, the center goes beyond clinical spaces to become Taiwan’s first 'reproductive bank concept showroom.'

Through immersive spatial design, reproductive medicine exhibitions, liquid nitrogen preservation equipment, and multimedia interactive displays, the showroom presents typically unfamiliar processes—such as reproductive treatments, egg freezing, and fertility preservation—in an accessible and engaging way. The goal is to help women understand their bodies and fertility health without pressure.

Dr. Zhang notes that many people only learn about their fertility when they begin trying to conceive. However, she stresses that it’s crucial to understand one’s body when life still offers choices. To this end, she introduces the new concept of 'fertility health management' and, through the establishment of the Sanshen Reproductive Center with Guangtian Hospital, aims to build a 360-degree women’s health ecosystem. By integrating premium health screenings, fertility health management, reproductive medicine, gynecological care, Da Vinci minimally invasive surgery, traditional Chinese medicine, metabolic management, pregnancy, childbirth, postnatal care, and childcare resources, the center offers a one-stop medical service from prevention and diagnosis to treatment and care. Dr. Zhang hopes fertility health checkups will gradually become part of routine health screenings and encourages companies to include fertility health in employee benefits—ensuring health management prepares not just for today, but for the future.
