Taipei's annual summer highlight, the '2026 Dadaocheng Summer Festival,' will take place from July 25 to August 15 at Dadaocheng Wharf. As a strong advocate for city tourism, Regent Taipei is not only hosting fireworks parties for guests on the rooftop pool deck on July 25 and August 15 but also launching two exclusive stay packages—'Dadaocheng Fireworks Getaway' and 'Regent Fireworks & Art Stay'—to celebrate the event.
The 'Dadaocheng Fireworks Getaway' offers guests stays in high-floor scenic rooms, providing unobstructed views of the dazzling fireworks displays. The 'Regent Fireworks & Art Stay' includes a popular handcrafted 'silk screen printing workshop' in Dihua Street and a NT$200 Uber ride voucher. Guests who upload photos of the Dadaocheng fireworks to Regent Taipei’s official Facebook page during their stay will receive an exclusive gift. Booking with an added high-speed rail ticket also offers discounts starting from 18% off, making travel more valuable and convenient.
Coinciding with the 2026 Dadaocheng Summer Festival is the global release of Marvel’s latest film, 'Spider-Man: Reborn.' The Taipei City Department of Information and Tourism has partnered with Sony Pictures to create a series of exciting events featuring the iconic 'Spider-Man' IP. The highly anticipated fireworks displays will be launched on the evenings of July 25, August 5, and August 15. The July 25 and August 15 shows will debut a synchronized drone light show combined with Spider-Man-shaped fireworks and movie soundtrack music, delivering a 20-minute immersive visual feast.
Additionally, Dadaocheng Wharf and Dihua Street will feature a 9-meter-tall Spider-Man art installation, a 180-meter themed waterfront light corridor, a gourmet and cultural market, and an interactive 'Retro Upside-Down House' designed to reflect Dadaocheng’s historic architecture. Visitors are invited to explore the alleys and experience the unique blend of Spider-Man and century-old streetscapes.
Regent Taipei, with its expansive views facing Dadaocheng, is an ideal vantage point for enjoying the summer fireworks. To align with the three themed fireworks shows, the hotel has specially designed the 'Dadaocheng Fireworks Getaway,' placing guests in high-floor Celebrity Suites with 33-ping of spacious comfort. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer panoramic views of the dazzling fireworks, accompanied by curated wines and a premium cheese platter in-room, adding a touch of romance to summer evenings. Guests also enjoy access to afternoon tea, Happy Hour, and breakfast at the Executive Lounge on the club floor, sharing leisurely moments with family and friends. The package starts at NT$16,448 per room per night for two guests.
Guests choosing the 'Regent Fireworks & Art Stay' can receive a NT$1,080 'Mulan Spa Ultimate Relaxing Hydrating Mask' by uploading their Dadaocheng fireworks photos to Regent Taipei’s Facebook page, adding a touch of indulgence and wellness to their journey.
Beyond enjoying the million-dollar fireworks view from the comfort of their rooms, Regent Taipei offers the 'Regent Fireworks & Art Stay,' a comprehensive package combining accommodation, dining, transportation, and cultural experiences, starting at NT$11,549 per room per night. Guests will take an Uber to Dihua Street to participate in a hands-on silk screen printing workshop hosted by the popular local brand 'Yin Hwa Le.' Under expert guidance, they’ll learn traditional printing techniques and appreciate the charm of heritage craftsmanship. In the evening, they’ll enjoy a stunning sunset and fireworks at the wharf, along with a variety of dining options. The next morning, guests can savor CNN’s only recommended buffet breakfast in Taipei at the hotel’s first-floor Palais de Thé, extending the joy of the previous night into a sunlit morning.
Additionally, guests are invited to join a fireworks check-in campaign. By capturing and uploading photos of the festival fireworks to the designated Facebook post comment section during their stay, they can redeem either the NT$1,080 'Mulan Spa Ultimate Relaxing Hydrating Mask,' enriched with premium botanical extracts, or the eco-friendly and stylish 'Regent Sustainable Water Bottle Set' at the front desk—taking home unforgettable memories of their urban retreat.
