Realizing you left your free package at the convenience store after getting home? You don’t need to make another trip. Taiwan’s two major convenience store chains, FamilyMart and 7-ELEVEN, have already launched a package-to-home delivery service since last year. Customers can simply use the store’s mobile app, pay a delivery fee, and have a courier deliver their in-store package to a designated location. They can even add various in-store products to the delivery order.

### FamilyMart: Schedule Delivery for Packages Under 5,000 TWD Within 3km

FamilyMart’s app includes a 'Pick Up Package' feature, where users can directly select 'Schedule Delivery.' After entering the delivery address and preferred time, users complete checkout. This service is limited to packages valued under 5,000 TWD and within a 3km delivery radius from the store. Many users were unaware of this hidden feature, with some expressing surprise online. Others noted that while convenient, the service might increase workloads for store staff.

### 7-ELEVEN: Integrates with foodomo Platform for Combined Delivery of Free Packages and Store Items

7-ELEVEN also offers a 'free package delivery to home' service, powered by integration with the foodomo delivery platform. For any package already arrived at the store, customers can pay a delivery fee and schedule delivery to their preferred location. They can also bundle in-store purchases with the package delivery. Whether the package is nearing expiration, the customer is away from home, or someone else needs to receive it, everything can be arranged seamlessly via the mobile app.
