Soybean salad oil produced by Chung Lian Oils has been found to contain benzopyrene, a Group 1 carcinogen, exceeding safety standards. The Ministry of Health and Welfare's Food and Drug Administration has ordered a full recall of related products. Affected by this contaminated raw oil, Costco announced tonight (23rd) in compliance with regulatory authorities that a total of 12 affected products will be eligible for return.
