McDonald's has announced that starting July 29, all stores across Taiwan will officially discontinue the 'table service' feature via self-order kiosks. This convenient function, introduced in 2018 and serving customers for eight years, will now become part of history. In the future, customers who order through kiosks for dine-in will need to pick up their meals at the counter, and staff will no longer deliver food to tables.
Prefer to stay seated? Use the McDonald's app! Table service remains exclusive to the McDonald's app.
Customers who are accustomed to sitting down and waiting for their food to be delivered can continue using the 'mobile ordering' feature on the McDonald's app. After being seated, simply open the app, select your meal, choose 'table service' as the pickup method, scan the QR code on your table or manually enter the table number, complete payment, and staff will deliver your order directly to your seat.
