Don't Throw Away Old Thermos Bottles or Yellowed Phone Cases! Exchange Any Brand for Discounts Up to $300

Don't rush to discard your unused thermos bottles or yellowed phone cases. Thermos and Jiesheng Communications have recently launched recycling campaigns, allowing customers to return eligible thermal containers, phone cases, or screen protectors in exchange for product discounts or shopping credits. However, each campaign has different restrictions regarding accepted materials, discount methods, and applicable products, so participants should carefully review the rules before joining.

Thermos' 'Old Bottle for New Bottle' campaign runs from now until August 9, 2026, and accepts damaged, old, or unused stainless steel thermos bottles, insulated mugs, and thermal food jars. Lids do not need to be complete, but plastic, glass, and ceramic containers are excluded from recycling. Customers can bring their old bottles to Thermos counters in department stores nationwide or fill out an online form and mail them to the designated location.

The campaign accepts bottles of any brand, but the discount amount varies. Exchanging a Thermos-branded old bottle for a specified 500ml vacuum-insulated bottle, 500ml thermal food jar, or 150ml/180ml pocket thermos cup grants a 25% discount off the listed price plus an additional $300 off. For non-Thermos brands, the offer is 25% off plus $200 off. When exchanging for a designated cold water bottle, customers receive 25% off plus a $100 discount.

Meanwhile, Jiesheng Communications has launched the 'Retire Your Old Screen Protector & Case' program, recycling phone cases that have yellowed or hardened, as well as cracked or damaged screen protectors. Customers who bring these old accessories to any of Jiesheng's physical stores and complete the recycling process will receive a $200 accessory shopping credit. This credit can be used to offset purchases of non-phone-brand accessories or health products in-store, but cannot be applied to DJI or Ultimate Ears products.

One shopping credit applies to one item only and cannot be combined with other promotions. The campaign began in July 2026. Customers who use their shopping credit on the same day of issuance will also receive a 6-pack of Genari pull-out tissues. The shopping credit must be used on-site at the store counter and cannot be reissued after leaving. The gift cannot be redeemed separately.
