Hsinchu County Government held a press conference today (29) to announce the launch of Season 2 of its official podcast, 'Following the Trend to Hsinchu County.' Deputy County Magistrate Chen Jianxian officially kicked off the new season, joined by host Eddie and entertainer Banana (Wang Junjie) to share highlights of the program. Through engaging dialogues and a launch ceremony, the county invited the public to explore Hsinchu County through audio, experiencing local culture, human stories, and the pulse of county governance.

The first season, launched last year, achieved remarkable success with over 200,000 cumulative listens, earning widespread praise and popularity among online users. As podcasts become an increasingly important medium for information, the county government aims to promote policies in a more relatable, everyday manner through 'Following the Trend to Hsinchu County.' Whether during commutes, exercise, or leisure time, listeners can easily access episodes to learn about Hsinchu County's policy achievements, local culture, anti-scam strategies, and public issues—bringing governance into daily life and showcasing the county's diverse charm.

Season 2 officially launches on June 23, releasing one episode every two weeks for a total of seven episodes. Centered on topics most relevant to daily life, the season covers 3C technology education, anti-fraud, disaster preparedness, tourism and culture, health and hygiene, and indigenous art promotion.
