To assist youth in smoothly transitioning into the workplace and strengthen talent retention for enterprises, the Kaohsiung City Government Youth Bureau is continuously promoting the 'Da Gang Youth Workplace Internship and Onboarding Plan.' Recently, Youth Bureau Director Lin Kuaixun led a team to visit United Orthopedic Instruments Co., Ltd. to understand the company's talent cultivation and internship system and announced the introduction of the 'Conversion to Regular Position Retention Bonus' this year. Youth who complete their internship, convert to regular full-time employees, and stay for at least three months, meeting the qualifications, can apply for a bonus of up to NT$10,000, encouraging youth to secure stable employment in Kaohsiung.
Internships are an important starting point for youth to explore their careers and accumulate practical experience, and are also a key mechanism for enterprises to cultivate talent and bridge the gap between learning and practice. This visit saw many youth successfully transition to regular positions through internships and continue to stay with the company, fully demonstrating the matching results of the 'Da Gang Youth Workplace Internship and Onboarding Plan' and forming a win-win model of local employment for youth and stable talent retention for enterprises.

Those who complete 160 hours of internship through the 'Da Gang Youth Workplace Internship and Onboarding Plan,' convert to regular full-time employees, stay for at least three months, and meet the qualifications can apply for a bonus of NT$10,000. The bureau hopes to reduce the threshold for youth employment through policy support and assist enterprises in retaining outstanding talent.
