A major leadership reshuffle has taken place at the National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH) main campus. Out of the six vice presidents, three have stepped down and three new vice presidents have been appointed in a 'three out, three in' transition announced today (31st). The reason for this change is that the terms of three vice presidents have expired. The vice president term is three years, renewable once, allowing a maximum tenure of six years.

The official handover ceremony was completed today, and the new appointments will take effect tomorrow, August 1.

The outgoing vice presidents whose terms have ended are: Ko Shu-Fen, a specialist in psychiatry; Lou Pei-Jen, a renowned otolaryngologist; and Ko Chia-Hung, an expert in liver research.

The newly appointed vice presidents are: Chen Jin-Xing, a highly prominent authority in lung cancer; Chen Jia-Hui, currently serving as Director of the Nursing Department; and Tan Qing-Ding, an otolaryngologist specializing in voice medicine and sleep-related breathing disorders.
