As Qixi Valentine's Day approaches, romantic dining demand continues to rise, with many planning meaningful dates to create unforgettable sweet moments with their loved ones. This summer, Chateaubriand, the French teppanyaki brand under Wangpin Group, joins forces with premium ice cream brand Häagen-Dazs, launching the concept 'Chateaubriand + Häagen-Dazs = Honey.' Elevating the sweetness of 'Honey' into the most intimate expression between lovers, this collaboration presents a romantic chapter specially crafted for Qixi.
Inspired by the temperature contrast of '250°C sizzling griddle × -20°C classic ice cream,' the two brands co-create a limited-time 'Honey Ultimate Obsession – Sea & Land Feast' for two. By layering Chateaubriand’s signature tableside flame show with Häagen-Dazs’ refined ice cream flavors across main courses, seafood, desserts, and beverages, the experience delivers a multi-sensory feast of visual, taste, and interactive delight—capturing the ultimate tension between passion and tenderness in love.
This highly anticipated summer collaboration was developed over six months of meticulous refinement by Chateaubriand’s culinary team. Breaking away from the traditional model of collaborations limited to desserts, the R&D team boldly transformed Häagen-Dazs ice cream into the soulful sauce of the entire meal, making it the central flavor thread throughout the course.
Facing the challenge of 'fire and ice fusion,' the team conducted countless tests on ingredient structures, dessert layering, and temperature control of custom sauces. Every dish—from main course to seafood, dessert, and drink—is intricately connected, offering guests a seamless and narrative-driven dining rhythm from the moment they are seated.

The most romantic teppanyaki meets the most premium ice cream—'Honey' is born.
The set features dual mains: 'Japanese F1 Domestic Beef New York Strip' and 'Rich Cocoa Brandy Duck Breast.' The duck breast, a star dish at Chateaubriand, is slowly pan-seared to lock in its crisp exterior and tender interior. Brandy is then poured and ignited, instantly sealing in the duck’s succulent juices and rich aroma. Next, Häagen-Dazs Chocolate Brownie ice cream is transformed into a rich, velvety sauce, topped with bittersweet chocolate crumbs. The cocoa-flavored sauce not only cuts through the richness but also enhances the natural sweetness and juiciness of the duck, elevating the overall flavor complexity.
For seafood, the 'French Sea Delicacies Trilogy' features premium white shrimp, fresh baby squid, and plump scallops, seared on a hot griddle to bring out the purest ocean sweetness. The R&D team ingeniously blends Häagen-Dazs Strawberry Mochi ice cream with beetroot and lemon juice to create a vibrant berry-red sauce. Paired with a basil green sauce, the red and green layers create a painterly aesthetic on the plate, crafting a delicious story of happiness.
A limited-time summer beverage, 'Refreshing Crimson Berry Four Seasons Oolong Tea Aroma,' is introduced, using smooth, sweet Four Seasons Oolong tea as a base, blended with strawberry elements to create a layered, tangy-sweet fruit tea profile with a first-love-like freshness. The drink features a scoop of Häagen-Dazs Strawberry Mochi ice cream, allowing tea and cream aromas to blend naturally, resulting in a smoother, creamier texture. The chewy mochi adds a delightful textural surprise, making this the perfect sweet finale to a romantic dinner.
