Ministry of Finance Warning: Beware of Scams – No Links Will Be Sent for Refund Processing

With refund operations underway, the Ministry of Finance reminds the public to stay vigilant against scams. It emphasizes that the National Tax Bureau will never send SMS, LINE, or other messaging app messages asking taxpayers to click unknown links for tax payments or refunds. If you receive such messages or suspicious URLs, do not click or enter personal information, as this may lead to phishing sites and financial loss. For questions, verify with the National Tax Bureau to confirm the authenticity of refund information before taking action.
