New Taipei mayoral candidate and legislator Su Chiao-hui released her latest campaign video today (31st) on social media platforms, unveiling for the first time a campaign slogan recorded by former President Tsai Ing-wen. Centered on the message 'A New Era, A New Mayor, Su Chiao-hui,' the launch marks the official start of a new wave of election campaigning.

In the video, Tsai Ing-wen only needed to record a single closing slogan. After reviewing the script prepared by staff, she smiled and said, 'Is that all?'—her lighthearted interaction sparking laughter on set and becoming a highlight of the behind-the-scenes footage.

Su also used the video to announce the official launch of her political fundraising campaign, revealing her donation platform and calling on supporters to participate through small contributions. She aims to unite broader public support to keep her campaign moving forward.

Additionally, the campaign team unveiled its first set of fundraising merchandise, including various sizes of the 'Otter Mom Plush Toy' and the 'Otter Friends Sticker T-shirt.' Supporters can receive different items based on their donation amount, with warm and approachable designs intended to bridge the gap between the candidate and citizens.

Su explained that the design inspiration comes from her亲子 podcast, 'Otter Mom Qiaomama Talks,' which she has hosted for over six years. Beyond continuing her advocacy for mother-tongue education and parent-child reading, she hopes to showcase her team’s warm and innovative brand image. Moving forward, she intends to win public support with a positive and uplifting attitude, leading New Taipei into a new era.

Su noted that in May, she invited Tsai Ing-wen to visit the campaign headquarters, where Tsai not only encouraged the young team but also praised their innovative approach to spreading their message. Initiatives such as the campaign’s visual identity, the 'New Taipei Treasure Box' video series, and the 'Otter Mom Park' events held across locations—each attracting over a thousand parent-child groups—aim to demonstrate the team’s creativity and execution power, helping more citizens get to know New Taipei and support change.
