Legislator Hsu Hsin-ying attended the event 'Executive Yuan's Inspection of Biomedical Park Development and Progress on the Fourth Biotech Building' today (31), joining Premier Zhuo Rong-tsai and Hsinchu County Magistrate Yang Wen-ke to assess on-site progress. Hsu stated that the biomedical and healthcare industries within the Biomedical Park continue to thrive, and while Hsinchu County has long showcased Taiwan's 'light of technology' through semiconductors, she hopes the biotech and medical sector will become Taiwan's 'light of health' in the future.

Hsu mentioned her long-standing efforts to realize the NTU Biomedical Park Hospital, and expressed gratitude to Magistrate Yang Wen-ke for his excellent stewardship of the Biomedical Park over recent years, turning it into a shining pearl within the Taoyuan-Hsinchu-Miaoli industrial corridor. She emphasized that such progress has only been possible through central guidance from the Executive Yuan and the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), alongside collaboration between Hsinchu County Government and industry stakeholders.

Hsu also expressed her hope that advanced biotech research and development outcomes will be effectively localized in the future, directly benefiting the health of every resident in Hsinchu County. She further pledged to continue working with central and local governments, as well as industry partners, to achieve this vision.
