With the departure of the last group of check-out guests at noon on August 1, the 20-year operational journey of Fuhong Taipei Branch 1 officially came to an end, as the hotel emotionally bid farewell to the public and its staff.

Fuhong has partnered with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) to build Taiwan's first HUALUXE Hotels & Resorts property—"Taipei Fuhong HUALUXE Hotel"—adjacent to Yuanshan MRT Station, with a grand opening scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
