The TAIEX closed at 43,386.41 points, up 266.66 points or 0.62% from the previous day. Among major blue-chip stocks, TSMC (2330) fell by 55 yuan, a 2.27% decline, while Foxconn (2317) rose by 2.5 yuan, a 1.00% increase. MediaTek (2454) showed the strongest performance, surging to the limit up with a 355 yuan increase, closing at 3,910 yuan. Semiconductor, memory module, and specific electronic component stocks were the most notable performers, with many hitting the limit up. AI-related and optical communication stocks also saw significant inflows, driving strong buying momentum in the tech sector. In contrast, traditional manufacturing, automotive, and some information services and green energy stocks were weaker, facing significant profit-taking pressure.
