The June 2026 rankings for Taiwan’s general imported SUV market have been released. According to U-car, the Toyota RAV4 achieved a record-breaking monthly sales figure of 2,943 units, maintaining its position at the top thanks to strong performance from its newly launched PHEV plug-in hybrid model.

Meanwhile, the Kia Sportage saw explosive order growth following its May facelift and the addition of a hybrid powertrain option. In June, it sold 952 units, leaping to second place in the rankings. The overall surge in new-energy-powered SUVs has become a key driver behind the segment’s market expansion.

Owners who have driven these models praise them as "spacious, fuel-efficient miracle cars" and "the ideal family vehicle."
