CTBC Bank continues to expand its service footprint across Taiwan, making its debut in the Anping District of Tainan City with the establishment of the new 'Anping Branch,' which held its opening ceremony today (4th). The Anping Branch is CTBC Bank's 13th service location in the Tainan area and its largest branch in the city, integrating innovative digital financial services and wealth management solutions to provide local residents and corporate clients with comprehensive and convenient financial experiences, further extending its financial service network within the historic Tainan metropolitan living zone.

The opening ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Tainan City Mayor Huang Wei-che, CTBC Bank Chairman Chen Chia-wen, CEO Yang Ming-hsiang, and Head of Personal Financial Services Yang Shu-hui.

Mayor Huang Wei-che stated in his speech that Tainan's development prospects are promising, with growing demand for financial services. The entry of financial institutions will support local development, industrial upgrading, and create more employment opportunities, helping Tainan evolve into an international city that combines industrial competitiveness with livability.

CTBC Bank Chairman Chen Chia-wen emphasized that Tainan is gradually becoming a key hub for technology, industry, and finance in southern Taiwan, successfully attracting corporate investments and top talent, demonstrating strong momentum in talent retention and capital attraction. CTBC recognizes Tainan’s significant growth potential and has established this new branch in Anping to integrate financial needs for both individuals and corporations, providing one-stop professional services. The goal is to fully support enterprise growth, talent localization, and family wealth succession, building a future Tainan with robust industrial strength, urban appeal, and international competitiveness.

CTBC Bank has also relocated its regional center for corporate and personal financial services in the Tainan area to the Anping Branch. Covering nearly 680 ping (approx. 2,248 sqm) with over 120 service team members, it is now the largest branch in Tainan. To create a service environment aligned with modern customer expectations, the branch adopts a new-generation design concept featuring bright, open-space layouts, minimalist and warm aesthetics, and user-friendly service flow, creating a professional yet welcoming consultation atmosphere. Additionally, the Anping Branch features dedicated financial advisory spaces offering one-on-one professional wealth management services, assisting clients with asset allocation, retirement planning, family wealth succession, and cross-border financial integration. By incorporating digital financial tools and intelligent service processes, and combining them with expert advisory teams at physical locations, CTBC delivers a financial experience that balances efficiency and human touch.

In recent years, Tainan has benefited from technological industry investments, major public infrastructure projects, and urban development, leading to increased population and consumer vitality. Anping District combines rich historical and cultural heritage, tourism resources, and high-quality residential environments. With the ongoing development of the municipal administrative center, the Phase 5 land reclamation zone, large-scale residential communities, and hospitality industries, it has become a vital living zone in Tainan. Meanwhile, government initiatives such as the Sanduo Smart Green Energy Science City and the continuous expansion of the Southern Taiwan Science Park have led to a rising number of high-net-worth individuals in southern Taiwan and increasing demand for multi-generational wealth management. The CTBC Bank Anping Branch not only meets needs related to business operations, asset allocation, and intergenerational wealth succession but also, through comprehensive financial services and a customer-centric operating model, advances hand-in-hand with Tainan into its next phase of growth.
