Chiang Chi-chen, Vice President of Taiwan's Legislative Yuan, held a press conference on the 5th at the flagship city work station to launch his campaign website themed 'Taichung Flavor,' announcing the official launch of his website. Legislative Yuan member and campaign team deputy convener Huang Chien-hao, Taichung City Councilor Huang Chia-tien, city council candidate Chen Ching-sung, and local industry representatives—Liu Shih-hsin, Chairman of 'Da Jia Mian Benjia,' and Chiu Chun-chang, CEO of 'Fengyuan Lacquer Art Materials Co.'—jointly attended. At the press conference, attendees collectively chanted the slogan 'Discover Taichung Flavor, Walk the Taichung Way,' declaring their commitment to centering emotion and human care, uniting citizens' memories and visions, and co-creating a unique development path for Taichung through an innovative digital platform.

Chiang emphasized that 'Taichung Flavor' is not merely a sensation on the palate or a memory of food, but represents the city's way of doing things, its pace of life, and its character. He specifically interprets 'flavor' as 'WAY' (path/method), symbolizing the connection of governance threads from the past, through the present, and into the future. Chiang stated that the campaign website abandons the traditional, monotonous, bullet-point presentation of policy platforms, instead linking 100 policy proposals through citizens' stories. Starting from uncovering citizens' everyday needs and inconveniences, it corresponds to concrete policy solutions, thereby outlining an administrative blueprint where technology and humanity coexist.

Campaign team deputy convener Huang Chien-hao detailed the website's structure. The site features a warm, clean milky white base accented with a calm ocean blue, designed to provide a comfortable and sustainable reading experience for citizens of all age groups. The website is organized into five main pillars: 'Taichung Taste,' showcasing local industries and interviews with various professionals; 'Taichung Doing,' sharing administrative styles and team interaction cases; 'Taichung Future,' presenting the vision of '10 Key Highlights and 100 Major Policies'; 'Taichung Scene,' recording dynamic news and video content; and 'Taichung Gathering,' integrating information from local service centers—comprehensively building a citizen engagement platform with less political flavor and more human warmth and everyday relevance.

The press conference also invited local industry and youth representatives to share their thoughts. Liu Shih-hsin, Chairman of 'Da Jia Mian Benjia,' shared his entrepreneurial journey in preserving traditional noodle culture, expressing hope to integrate local precision machinery with food processing to lead Taichung into becoming an innovation hub for sustainable circular economy in Asia. Chiu Chun-chang, CEO of 'Fengyuan Lacquer Art Materials Co.,' spoke of his dedication to promoting traditional lacquer art and local culture, looking forward to working with the team to make Fengyuan an internationally renowned lacquer art city. Councilor Huang Chia-tien and candidate Chen Ching-sung also pointed out that the website presents practical policies addressing citizens' pain points, such as child-friendly environments and convention economy, demonstrating a determination to listen to public opinion and work together toward the future.
