Taichung City Hosts Taiping District Job Fair on August 14: 10 Companies Offer Over 300 Positions with Full Digitalization, No Resumes Required

To assist residents in securing employment and help local businesses find quality talent, the Taichung City Government Labor Bureau has partnered with the Taiping District Office to host the 'Prosperous Taichung Employment Success' joint recruitment event at the Taiping District Administration Center’s 5th-floor auditorium on Friday, August 14, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The event will feature 10 well-known companies, including Hotel Redi, Tool Yu, Lishan Industry, Hsin-Chan Industry, Pei-Sheng Industry, and Tien Kung Precision, offering over 300 job opportunities. It will fully implement the 'Paperless Technology Recruitment' service, creating an efficient and modern job-seeking experience.

The Labor Bureau stated that Mayor Lu Hsiu-yen is actively promoting district development and local employment. Taiping District is the fourth-largest administrative area in Taichung City and a key manufacturing hub. Manufacturing employment accounts for 43% of the total employed population in the district. In recent years, it has attracted a large influx of people and enterprises. To support manufacturing workers returning to the workforce, the city government is fully advancing the 'Labor Employment Connect' program, providing companies with up to NT$36,000 in 'Hiring Incentives' or 'Workplace Training,' and up to NT$100,000 for 'Job Redesign.' This helps businesses fill labor gaps using government resources while increasing job stability for applicants. Eligible workers can also receive employment incentives such as those for women re-entering the workforce, creating a win-win situation for both employees and employers.

The Labor Bureau further explained that the participating companies represent a strong lineup, including home improvement leader Tool Yu, renowned hospitality brand Hotel Redi, and locally rooted manufacturers like Pei-Sheng Industry and Hsin-Chan Industry. These 10 companies span the service, tourism/hospitality, and traditional manufacturing sectors, offering over 300 job openings. Notably, machine tool manufacturer 'Lishan Industry' is offering a Mechanical R&D Design Engineer position with a monthly salary of up to NT$64,000. Meanwhile, professional scissor maker 'Pei-Sheng Industry' offers an R&D Engineer role with a salary of up to NT$50,000, along with 62 positions open to all educational and experience levels and 69 internship opportunities, meeting the needs of job seekers at various stages.
