According to the latest announcement from Taiwan Water Corporation, water shutdown operations will be carried out starting tomorrow, Monday, August 10, in 11 counties and cities: Taoyuan City, Taichung City, Kaohsiung City, Changhua County, Yunlin County, Nantou County, Chiayi County, Chiayi City, Tainan City, Yilan County, and Hualien County. Residents in affected areas are advised to complete water storage at least six hours in advance. During the shutdown, power to water pumps must be turned off to prevent motor damage or fire caused by dry running.
