With the upcoming year-end nine-in-one local elections, Taisho Company has joined hands with the Taiwan Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office to promote clean election practices. Today (14th), an opening ceremony for the anti-bribery election awareness campaign was held at the 'Taisho Chenggong Gas Station' in Qianzhen District, Kaohsiung City, inviting agencies from the Ministry of Justice, prosecutors, anti-corruption, investigation, and police to jointly participate. From today until the voting day on November 28, anti-bribery awareness videos produced by the Ministry of Justice will be continuously broadcast on large outdoor LED screens at all 73 Taisho gas stations across Taiwan, bringing anti-bribery messages into the daily lives of citizens.

The event was co-hosted by Lin Hsin-chih, Executive Director of Taisho's Oil Division, and Tsai Yu-che, Director of Taisho's Political Integrity Division. Attendees included Hung Hsin-hsu, Director of the Protection Division at the Ministry of Justice; Huang Yuan-kuan, Chief Prosecutor of the Taiwan Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office; Cheng Chia-hung, Deputy Director of the Southern Regional Investigation Division of the Anti-Corruption Agency; Chen Hui-ming, Deputy Director of the Kaohsiung Investigation Office of the Ministry of Justice's Investigation Bureau; and Hou Tung-hui, Deputy Commissioner of the Kaohsiung City Police Department. This gathering demonstrated a strong commitment to public-private collaboration in promoting fair elections.

Chief Prosecutor Huang Yuan-kuan emphasized that as elections approach, the prosecutors' office will intensify anti-bribery awareness efforts by informing the public about reporting channels, evidence collection methods, and reward programs, encouraging citizens to help maintain clean election practices and ensure the selection of capable candidates. He stated that if citizens suspect bribery, they can call the anti-bribery hotline 0800-024-099 and press 4. Reporters' identities will be strictly protected, and if the report is verified, a reward of up to NT$20 million may be awarded. He urged the public to bravely come forward with information to safeguard a fair and just electoral environment.

Taisho highlighted that its extensive network of gas stations across Taiwan serves a large number of citizens daily, making it an important platform for public awareness campaigns. By broadcasting awareness videos on large outdoor LED screens at 73 gas stations, the company aims to integrate anti-bribery messages into citizens' daily routines—especially during refueling—thereby expanding outreach and deepening community engagement.

The campaign specifically unites public agencies including prosecutors, investigators, anti-corruption units, and police with Taisho to launch the anti-bribery initiative. The goal is to extend anti-bribery awareness beyond one-time events into everyday life, reminding citizens to remain vigilant, refrain from vote-buying, vote-selling, or bribery, and collectively protect electoral fairness.

Taisho emphasized that beyond providing essential services, corporations also bear civic responsibilities. By leveraging its existing service network, the company aims to ensure that accurate legal and integrity-related information reaches more citizens, working with government agencies to build a transparent and corruption-free society.

With the nine-in-one local elections approaching, Taisho will continue to collaborate with relevant agencies to promote anti-bribery and integrity awareness. Through public-private cooperation and public participation, the company hopes to embed 'clean election practices' into every corner of society, enabling the selection of capable leaders and safeguarding the fairness and value of democratic elections.
