Strong Performers: Today's market saw strong performance in aerospace and defense, some computer peripherals, and construction materials stocks. In the aerospace sector, Han Hsin, EVA Air, and Evergreen Aerospace all saw strong gains and hit the limit-up. Computer and peripheral equipment manufacturer Pegatron saw heavy trading of over 400,000 shares and hit the limit-up, while Cheng Wei also showed strong performance near the limit-up. Additionally, plastic giant Nan Ya surged nearly 9.79%, playing a key role in supporting the market.
Weak Performers: Weak performers included some semiconductor equipment, industrial computers, and passive components, which faced significant selling pressure. Industrial computer giant Quanta Computer fell over 9%, while IC design companies such as GigaDevice and Elan Microelectronics saw declines of over 8%, indicating that high-priced tech stocks and some overbought stocks faced profit-taking today, showing relatively weak performance.
