Chinese humanoid robotics company Unitree Robotics officially launched its IPO application on the Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Market on August 10, 2026, with an issue price set at 150.8 RMB per share. The company is expected to be listed by mid-to-late August, becoming the 'first humanoid robot stock' on the A-share market. The most striking aspect is that its IPO received over 8,000 times oversubscription from retail investors, demonstrating intense market interest in this emerging industry.
According to a report by Smart Analytics Global, Unitree, which has performed multiple times at China's Spring Festival Gala, was the world's largest humanoid robot supplier last year. However, in the first half of 2026, its sales volume was surpassed by its Chinese rival, Agibot (Intellivention Robotics). The research firm stated that Unitree and Agibot achieved annual sales growth rates of 170% and 562%, respectively.
The humanoid robot market remains small in scale, with only around 15,000 units deployed globally last year. Yet, supporters like Tesla CEO Elon Musk believe its potential is enormous. Currently, Unitree sits near the top of the industry food chain. See how this mysterious small company will evolve… VVIP members can unlock the full report.
